Philadelphia-based and award winning composer Andrea Clearfield has written tse go la (at the threshold of this life). This Tibetan cantata is inspired by the composer’s treks to the restricted and remote Himalayan region of Lo Monthang, Nepal to study and document indigenous Tibetan music.  The work incorporates 5 songs from the gar-glu (court) and tro-glu (common) traditions.  Joining SACC on this work will be the UIW Cardinal Singers under the direction of William Gokelman.  Andrew Lloyd, San Antonio composer and organist has written a breathtaking multi-movement work, CHRISTUS, as a Lenten offering.   Both composers will be with SACC for these premieres to the San Antonio community.  SACC is delighted to present these works at the Incarnate Word Chapel on February 26th at 8 pm and February 27th at 3 pm for free admission.
