A celebration of the history of the San Antonio Stockyards.
This kick-off fall festival will highlight multiple cultures in celebration of San Antonio's Mexican, Tejano, American, and rich Texas cowboy history. The festival will also recognize the livestock industry which contributed to the development of San Antonio.
Similar to the Fort Worth Stockyards, SASHS mission is to bring awareness to the stockyard industry. Although not located in the original location, this alternate location will serve residents of South San Antonio, and bring opportunities for agriculture development and livestock growth.
The three day festival, taking place at the the former Charro ranch and rodeo arena, Herradura De Plata (Silver Horse Shoe) will include music, food trucks, petting zoo, and cowboy demonstrations, just to name a few activities.
