In observation of the 222 nd Anniversary of Mexico’s Independence, the Avenida Guadalupe
Association (AGA) welcomes the public to celebrate the 41st Annual Dieciseis de Septiembre
Parade.  AGA's program begins at 11:00 a.m. with 2022 Parade Grand Marshal Sam Tabet
Alvarado, local labor and civil-rights hero. The parade begins at the corner of Brazos Street and
Guadalupe Street and continues west through San Antonio’s historic Mexican American
community. Bring your folding chairs and sun umbrellas. Brought to you with generous support
from H.E.B., the Department of Arts and Culture Department, and the Avenida Guadalupe
Neighborhood Association.
