The Picture Your World Youth Photography Program is hosted by Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas, a 501 (c) 3 organization. Picture Your World is designed for ages 8-18 and encourages a creative approach to digital photography while advocating a personal connection to nature and promoting environmental stewardship among youth.

Green Spaces Alliance is kicking off the Picture Your World weekend workshop series at the Medina River Natural Area. Join us on Sunday, September 25 from 1:00-4:00 pm for a fun afternoon of hiking and nature photography as we explore one of San Antonio’s hidden gems. The Medina River Natural Area is 511 acres with both riverfront paved and dirt hiking paths. With hiking and biking trails, there are lots recreation options for the entire family and the plants and wildlife are pretty fabulous too. Picture Your World will provide cameras, photography instruction, and guided hike with a Master Naturalist to make the most of your educational experience.
