At 7:00 pm , Friday, September 2nd, artist Cody Freeman's solo exhibit will open at 527 El Paso St. 78207 inside the future home of the new Mxicanna Cafe. The goal of the exhibit is to raise awareness of the Mexican American dispora and change the narrative about Mexican life in America. The exhibit will also feature a mariachi performance by Mariachi Los Amores at 8:30 pm and close at 10:00 pm. The exhibit will be up for the month with a closing ceremony on September 30th.
