Searching for the best school for your child? Choice school enrollment season for the 2023-2024 academic year is here! To help families through the process, San Antonio Charter Moms hosts its next School Discovery Day at O.P. Schnabel Park. Families will have the opportunity to meet school representatives from 14 top San Antonio choice schools, ask questions, get on interest lists and learn about application processes and deadlines. Additionally, families can receive hands-on guidance from the San Antonio Charter Moms team on navigating the nonprofit’s online tools and resources designed to simplify the search and application process.

Participating schools include Anne Frank Inspire Academy, Great Hearts Texas, BASIS Charter Schools, School of Science and Technology SST, Harmony Public Schools, Brooks Academies of Texas, The Gathering Place, Compass Rose Public Schools, Pre-K 4 SA, IDEA Public Schools, CAST Schools, Lighthouse Public Schools, Valor Public Schools and Legacy Traditional Schools—Texas.Families visiting the O.P. Schnabel Park School Discovery Day can keep the little ones entertained as they enjoy the playground, catch Once in a Wild mobile zoo’s animal program, get creative with face painting, dance to the beats of The AM Project and sample specialty hot dogs by Doolittle’s Mobile Kitchen. The event is free and open to the public and includes great raffle prizes to boot!
