Join Xelena González and Ceiba Ili for a series of interactive stories that combine music, movement, and improvisation. This is a bilingual, family-friendly event designed to inspire and engage.
Rosa Rosie Torres, a grantee of the Individual Artist Grant by the Arts & Culture Dept of San Antonio. This funding has made possible the production of Words & Movement in the Cave of Knowledge/Palabras y Movimiento en la Cueva de Sabidurria. The cave of knowledge is a tiny library made of Earth clay and is located in the garden patio of Galeria E.V.A. (Ecos y Voces del Arte), and becomes the backdrop and stage for story telling through words and movement. This is an outdoor event. An Intergenerational and family friendly safe space located in the Southside of San Antonio.
This third production of Words & Movement in the Cave of Knowledge features multi-genre artist, Ceiba Ili & Xelena Gonzalez. Doors open at 5:30p to Mezclar & enjoy cafe de olla o champurrado~ gratitude donations for refreshments welcomed. (money collected goes to feed those living on the streets)
