SACC presents their annual holiday concerts featuring El Mesías which is a Spanish version of Handel’s Messiah.
On December 17 and 18, SACC will offer a special presentation of El Mesías which is a Spanish version of Handel’s Messiah. A musical rite of the holiday season, this will be a premiere in San Antonio of this re-imagined work with new rhythmically revised instrumental parts to match the necessary changes to the text in the Spanish language. As Brahms did with his German Requiem, we honor those among us of Spanish descent in presenting this timeless work in another language.
