"A Life in Technicolor" Movie World Premiere at Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival 2022

Presented by Luminaria at Tobin Center For The Performing Arts

Premiering for the first time to an audience, "A Life in Technicolor," tells the story of Natalie, a lifelong film lover stuck in her apartment waiting out a global pandemic. In love with the power of cinema, Natalie has always found solace with the likes of Dorothy and Toto, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and Chaplin's Little Tramp. As the days wane on and Natalie’s life remains at a standstill, a mysterious force sweeps into her neighborhood, rendering the outside of Natalie’s quaint apartment both gray and silent, just like the movies she so adores. What begins as an eerie happening quickly develops into a thrilling romp through film history itself as Natalie recreates a dazzling array of classic movie scenes from inside her apartment as the gray outside threatens to drain her world forever of life, sound, and color.

"Technicolor" will premiere at Will's Plaza (Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza) at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30PM. Writer/Director Alex Ramirez will open the premiere with a few words before the film begins.
