Book Discussion – The Alamo: A Cradle of Lies, Slavery & White Supremacy

Book Discussion – The Alamo: A Cradle of Lies, Slavery & White Supremacy

Presented by Witte Museum at Witte Museum

In this special edition of Entrepreneurial Appetite’s Black book discussions, we bring you a conversation with Mario Salas, author of The Alamo: A Cradle of Lies, Slavery, and White Supremacy. This event is particularly significant because the Witte is partnering with The San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum, San Antonio’s premiere Black history museum.

About the book: This book reveals the hidden history, the untold story of the Alamo, of the Alamo and its relationship to myth, lies, slavery, and white supremacy. The author presents academic knowledge and simple language to present a greater understanding of the facts about the Alamo that have been erased.
