Ancient Gaelic May Day: Vendors, Food, flower garland workshop, music, poetry performance open mic, May Pole Dance, Ostura/Litha Ceremony, and more!
* > * Beltane is the Gaelic May Day festival. Commonly observed on the first of May, the festival falls midway between the Spring equinox and Summer solstice in the Northern hemisphere.
You'll have the opportunity to make baskets, poseys, and floral hair garlands at this festival💐
♡ A wide variety of vendors will be there to celebrate with us, as well as Brisco's Soul Food, Nancy's Cookies, and activities.
♡ The Loka Tribe Dancers will be performing throughout the day.
♡ We end the day with a May Pole Dance, and Beltane Ostur/Litha Celebration at 6 PM. Bring your own ribbon with your intention to put on the May Pole, the celebratory post.
♡ We will all dance to celebrate Spring's departure, purity, fertility, growth, and the coming of Summer🌻
