In 2019 we held a brand new festival called @talonfest to celebrate the unique and vast culture of talon, music played table-side by trios, mariachis, norteño, and son musicians around Mexico and all Latino America. The festival included stage performances by @musicavolcan @losdeestanochesatx @tropamagica @pinataprotest as well as talon groups @mariachilosamores @eltallercitodeson, Eva Ybarra, @conjuntoheritagetaller, @mondofrombeyondo as well as art vendors, @dru.photo, and a special pop-up from @mitierracafesa. The sold-out event was a hit from start to finish. We could have not asked for a better night.

Unfortunately Covid got in the way and we weren’t able to keep the festival running for the second year but NOW we are very happy and proud to announce that we will be having a second Talon Fest in 2024!

This year’s @talonfest will take place at @jaimesplace and we could not think of a better venue to host the event. As a venue that truly celebrates the Westside San Anto and the greater Mexican culture, we are happy to be having our event there.

It is a special day for Talón Band El Tallercito de Son, they will be premiering their new single from their upcoming CD!!!

The 2024 Talon Fest will feature stage performances by @pinataprotest, @los_skarnales, and @tarasco_tropical. Talon groups will include @eltallercitodeson, @mariachilosamores, Panfilios Guera, @lunatropicalsatx, Santiago Jiménez, @sonorahechicerasatx, @grupotantan, @conjuntoheritagetaller, Trio Mi Tierra, and more who will be announced soon. Vendors will include @mitierracafesa
