This poignant musical presentation for chamber choir, piano, and solo cello is offered in honor of Yom HaShoah, or International Holocaust Remembrance Day, in commemoration of the approximately six million Jews killed in the Holocaust. Using translations of original Polish materials found in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC, this work alternates between music and readings as it takes us on an emotional journey through one of the bleakest periods in our history. This event is presented in partnership with the Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio.
