Lisa Morales.has created a beautiful event honoring women, cultura and mixing singer-songwriter with Mariachi and other traditional Mexican and Spanish sounds, emphasizing Spanglish as a genre. She has asked San Antonio native,Rosie Flores, to make a special guest appearance and is honoring her sister Roberta, who passed away almost 3 years ago, by performing a few Sisters Morales songs.  Long-time San Antonio favorites Mariachi Campanas de America will also join Lisa and her band on stage along with her son, Thomas Spencer.  This program will include new songs that were written specifically for this program as well.

Lisa is also creating community by incorporating local artists into her project by hiring Thelma Muraida to design her graphics and display her paintings as you enter the show.  Local artist Jorge Najera's paintings will be her backdrop.
