The San Antonio Film Festival (SAFILM) celebrates 30 years of bringing independent films to the screens of Alamo City. While SAFILM’s official anniversary will take place during the six-day film festival from July 30-August 4, 2024, the celebration kicks off with a VIP Preview on Thursday, April 4, featuring the screening of Jesse Trevino – The Artist. The Man, at the Radius Center, located at 106 Auditorium Circle. Doors open at 6pm with the 30th Anniversary Poster Reveal Party, followed by the screening at 7:30 pm.

Jesse Trevino – The Artist. The Man is an intimate look at the life of legendary artist Jesse Trevino, who lost his painting hand in combat in Vietnam but persevered to become San Antonio's best-known artist. The film, directed, shot, and edited by KLRN journalist Randy Beamer, includes stories and memories shared by friends, plus Jesse himself, with some of his personal collections, and never-before-seen footage.
