The San Antonio River Foundation and the San Antonio River Authority are inviting the community to attend the 3rd Annual Mission Reach Flotilla Festival which will take place Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Mission County Park Pavilions from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As part of this free festival, individuals and community organizations are encouraged to enter the watercraft decorating contest and decorate a kayak or canoe for a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize from the John and Florence Newman Foundation. The public can also take part in a canoe and kayak parade on the Mission Reach paddling trail where they can dress up and take part in a costume contest. The festival will also feature live music, art, food and beer vendors, and kid-friendly activities directly off the San Antonio River.
