More than 100 recent artworks by Bihl Haus Goldens are highlighted in the exhibition, “Golden Memories,” which closes with a reception from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. (The Aug. 25 opening reception was cancelled because of Hurricane Harvey.)
The closing reception, which is free and open to the public, also features live music by Poly Harrison, Curtis Calderon and Joan Carroll and poolside libations and appetizers. Gallery hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday-Saturday or by appointment by calling 210-383-9723.
“Golden Memories” is the first in a series of three fall exhibitions at Bihl Haus Arts that celebrate the 10th anniversary of the organization’s GO! Arts Program, which is now offered at 15 senior centers and residences across San Antonio to more than 400 Goldens each week. Classes, which are free, including all arts supplies, are taught by professional artist-teachers.
