February’s Free Second Sunday at the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures celebrates the Lunar New Year and Year of the Dog.
Hands-on crafts, such as origami, will let children and families learn more about their animals on the Chinese Zodiac. They can enjoy performances from the UTSA Korean Culture Club, dancing to popular K-pop songs, and join in a traditional dance with the UTSA Japanese club.
According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2018 is the Year of the Dog, so the institute has invited guests from the Therapy Animals of San Antonio and In Dog We Trust.
