AAASA is proud to be participating in San Antonio's Tricentennial celebrations in 2018 by hosting a celebration of Asian-American culture in San Antonio! The event will take place on May 19, 2018 at La Villita in beautiful downtown San Antonio. The theme of the event is “East Meets West at the Alamo City” and we want to show the growth and influence of Asian-American culture within the San Antonio community.

The event will be a day-long celebration of Asian culture with a healthy dose of San Antonio tossed in. The event will consist of a cultural program showcasing the best of song & dance, food vendors, merchandise, and cultural activities for the whole family. We expect a strong attendance of 5,000 people throughout the day.

The event is free for the general public and the central location in Downtown San Antonio will ensure a steady stream of traffic from surrounding attractions as well as the beautiful Riverwalk. Its intended to appeal to a broad audiences of all ages and the unique blend of San Antonio & Asian cultures will ensure accessibility for all.
