Elizabeth Griego’s exhibition blurs the line between art and activism. In the wake of the “Me Too” movement, Griego creates work that embodies the complex issues around sexual assault. In her approach, she forces the viewer to internally ask questions about their own past and provides victims an opportunity to heal. You forgot about Me features pieces in a variety of media from light boxes to handmade paper and experiential works. Visitors are invited to engage with the exhibition’s interactive pieces.
The opening reception of Elizabeth Greigo’s art exhibition, "You forgot about Me," will be at Terminal 136 on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Also open on First Friday, May 4, from 6-9 p.m.
