In celebration of National Bike Month and the SA Film Commission’s 2018 “World Heritage and Tricentennial” local film contest, Mission Marquee Plaza is excited to host the award ceremony and feature the winning films before our #ThrowbackThursday presentation of “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure!”
When eccentric man-child, Pee-Wee Herman, gets his beloved bike stolen in broad daylight, he sets out across the U.S. for the adventure of his life.
The Mission Marquee Plaza’s beautiful open-air environment is sure to offer a great view of the original jumbo screen. With plenty of lawn space, visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy an evening of entertainment under the stars.
Venue will open 5:30 p.m., the festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin 15 minutes after dusk. This event is brought to you by the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office.
All events are FREE, open to the public, and pet friendly!
