The award winning Children’s Ballet of San Antonio presents its latest production, Don Quixote de San Antonio. The performance marks the company’s exciting debut at the Majestic Theatre and its sixth production to date. As an official Tricentennial event, Don Quixote de San Antonio follows the premise of the Masterpiece Ballet Don Quixote adding a San Antonio twist as it honors the Alamo City’s rich culture and history. Don Quixote sets out on his journey to San Antonio with his comedic sidekick, Sancho Panza as they seek to defend virtue and search for Dulcinea, Don Quixote's love who has appeared to him in a dream. Along the way, they encounter a host of characters the whole family is sure to enjoy!

Don Quixote de San Antonio features a talented cast of 150 young artists, ranging in age from 3 to 19. The cast includes award winning classical dancers, talented special needs artists, and many other exceptional young children. Production leads include: Lucy Hassmann, Mackenzie Kirsch, Kate Thomas, Emma Hurtado, Kelda Kapoor, Eliza Sell, and guest artist Luis Javier Corrales Ceballos. The Children’s Ballet of San Antonio has rapidly elevated the city’s standing in the arts since opening its doors in June 2015, featuring a cast with an impressive array of regional and national award “firsts” for San Antonio from the most prestigious ballet competitions world-wide.
