With nearly 3.5 million images in its historic archives, UTSA Libraries Special Collections at the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures maintains a photographic chronology of San Antonio’s history.
Assembled by senior photo curator Tom Shelton, this exhibit includes historic views of San Antonio, such as ethnic communities and culture, daily life, street scenes, events, and architecture. Shelton has organized the exhibit into decades, with 300 images on display.
The exhibit has received official Tricentennial recognition.
