"8x8: CABARET DU JUMP" at Jump-Start. It's hot summer fun in a hexahedron (no te preocupes, theater is kept at 69 degrees)! 

Jump-Start Performance Co. presents "8x8: CABARET DU JUMP," 32 innovative performances presented in an 8-foot cube. The eight 8-minute performances feature dance, spoken word, multi-media, performance art, live music and – absolutely anything goes! 

Jump-Start company member and producer Kim Corbin promises that each evening of "8x8: CABARET DU JUMP" will bring a new and diverse slate of performers.  Featured artists this year include Stephan Gaeth, Erica DelaRosa and George Garza, Jr., Molly Martinez Collins, Holly Nañez, Marisela Barrera, Chuck Squier, Pamela Dean Kenny, Julie Marin, Eraina Porras, Clint Taylor, and among many others.

Cabaret du Jump is a decades-long Jump-Start tradition. The cabaret was a platform for Jump-Start company members to experiment with performance ideas at artistic retreats. Five years ago, Jump-Start decided to invite community artists and audiences to join the company for a Cabaret du Jump presented on an 8’ x 8’ stage.  Three years ago, company members Chuck Squier and Sheila Currie collaborated on the architectural cube, which now serves as the playing area for the show.
