Quickly establishing itself as one of Austin’s finest professional choral groups, the Ars Longa Ensemble presents “Sacred Space,” a program exploring the connection between music and space. For centuries, places of worship have provided composers with a canvass for some of their most enduring works.
This program will center around Scottish composer James MacMillan’s magnificent Strathclyde Motets, and feature other works by Bruckner, Conte, Hogan, Mendelssohn, Paulus, Rheinberger, and Stanford.
