Pearl honors the rich traditional Mexican holiday that remembers family and friends who have passed away, with altars/ofrendas, live music, a procession, art making, and more. The entire event is free and open to the public. Both days will feature traditional altars created by local and regional artists. Visitors are also invited to honor their loved ones by contributing to Pearl’s community altar.
Mexico City-based artist Karima Muyaes will also be creating an altar and be Pearl’s artist-in-residence for Dia de los Muertos.
Costumes and face painting are encouraged!
