Hamm and Clov are bound together, stuck in a room where leaving doesn’t seem to be an option. They couldn’t be more different, but that may not matter much anymore. All they have is each other … and Hamm’s parents—or what’s left of them. This is the final phase, the last move, the end of something that was already drawing to a close long ago.
