The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures hosts an annual Asian Festival the weekend following the Chinese New Year. The festival features a wide spectrum of Asian cultures and attracts event-goers from across the state.
The family-friendly event features musical and cultural performances on multiple stages. Guests can enjoy authentic Asian-American food, with a menu including Japanese, Korean, Thai, Laotian, Filipino and other delectable cuisines.
Activities on the grounds include cooking demonstrations, henna painting and palm reading; martial arts demonstrations and more. Vendors will sell crafts such as clothing, artworks, dolls, silk items, jewelry and other gifts.
