This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Paseo por El Westside celebrating not only the culture of the Westside, but the history and people too! 

This event is intergenerational at the core with activities for all ages. The event will include fotobanner tours through the Westside, workshops, demos, food, and live music.

We will have performances by Conjunto Heritage Taller, Las Tesoros de San Antonio, Azul Barrientos, and Panfilo’s Güera (Belen Escobedo). Workshops/demos include Chile Peppers: Names, Ways to Cook with Them, and Tasting con Blanca Rivera, Tracing Family Roots using Library Resources: Genealogy with Sylvia Reyna, Medicinal Plants and Their Uses, and more! 

Admission is free and the event is open to the public as well as family friendly. The whole family is invited whether they were born and raised in the Westside or simply enjoy cultural festivities honoring San Antonio’s heritage! If you can, please bring camping or folding chairs along to setup at our seating area!
