MISSION
Advance the scholarly knowledge of cultural practices and artistic cultural practices in particular of the Mexican American and Latino communities in San Antonio, Texas and the United States. Apply this knowledge to the area of artistic cultural performance.
Los Inocentes’ scholarly cultural research permits in-depth knowledge of relevant cultural practices through documentary, anthropological and folkloric research. The artistic performing aspect is the vehicle to disseminate and make accessible this knowledge at all levels of the local community.
