SpareWorks dance is a modern dance company in San Antonio, Texas and was founded in 2007 by Amber Ortega-Perez. SpareWorks choreographers are past recipients of the Artist Foundation grant. SpareWorks has had the honor of performing commissioned work for the McNay Art Museum of San Antonio as well as been chosen to present at W-I-P Creme, sponsored by the San Antonio Dance Umbrella and Jump-Start Performance Company. SpareWorks dance has also produced and performed their own concerts in the past years.
