The Alianza LatinoAmericana ( ALA ) is 501c3 Organization that has as its goals and objectives the promotion, cultivation and preservation of its Hispanic Heritage through its cultural arts. What we hope to achieve through this endeavor is the celebration and exposure of our Hispanic Heritage to new audiences and preserving through education its legacy. These traditions will be kept alive through its art, song, dance and crafts. We are an all inclusive organization that encourages participation in its Arts programming and activities. These activities include Hispanic/Latino Theatre Arts, Hispanic/Latino Dance Program, Hispanic/Latino Arts & Crafts Program and Folk Music Program. These activities are available to the community at a nominal fee. We outreach through out the city of San Antonio through the local press, social network and ALA sponsored events, much of which is by word of mouth by participants. We also make efforts to network with other community based non-profit organizations and internationally with sister organizations in Monterrey , Mexico
