The 20th year of Festival Approaches With Acclaimed Recognition

As the heat of summer approaches, Audience Awards News reported a top ten list of the must see film festival of the 2014 festival season. Amongst the list is the SAFILM – San Antonio Film Festival in their 20th year celebration. The festival will be held in various locations in San Antonio, Texas from Monday, July 28th through Sunday, August 3rd.

SAFILM is included in a list of world renowned film festivals, and is cited in the Audience Award as being, “a great opportunity for networking, ‘cultural exchange,’ and some good old fashion cinematic entertainment”. As a festival that stands proud on educating up and coming filmmakers beyond just filmmaking, but as a cultural experience as well, the festival is proud to be included on such a list.

In the 20th year, SAFILM Festival will take place at the Pearl Stables, The Josephine Theatre, and the brand new City Base Cinema theatre. Every night of the festival will be concluded with an after party thrown by the best of San Antonio.

This film festival season, SAFILM will consist of celebrity names, such as, Daniel Baldwin, Jose Canseco, and many more to be announced.
