“Butterfly” by San Antonio artist Jack Robbins is a celebration of water and community. The artwork is site specific to the location, which features aesthetic attributes and utilitarian elements. The artwork is a 12 foot-tall galvanized steel sculpture comprised of multiple snout-nosed butterfly silhouettes surrounding a central column. The circular design speaks to the theme of the creek and is a metaphor for the flowing water and pedestrians moving along the trail.
