“Sideshow” by San Antonio artist Jennifer Khoshbin consists of three powder-coated steel frames in a cut-paper design that layer to form a theater stage. Each frame depicts silhouettes of plants, animals, and landscapes. The frames overlap each other creating an intricate illusion. The artwork/theatre set is installed adjacent to the Magik Children’s Theatre and situated in front of a series of picnic tables and benches for impromptu skits and performances. “Sideshow” is part of the series “Play” located in Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair Park.
