At a ground-breaking ceremony in January 2007 the library was dedicated as the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library at the William J. Cole Library Park. Friends of the Library initiated the “Discover the World from Here” campaign to fully furnish and landscape the new site. The new 18,680 square foot Bulverde/Spring Branch Library opened its doors on May 1, 2008.
