Cody Branch Library was the 14th branch added to the San Antonio Public Library system. Opened in 1984, it is built on land donated by the Northside Independent School District, and is named in honor of a former superintendent of that district. With a collection of well over 90,000 volumes, the branch contains 13,617 square feet, including a public meeting room.
