Family event to feature games, inflatables and lots of giveaways WHAT: Look up in the sky! It’s a bird. It’s a plane. No, it’s a helicopter flying high above the San Antonio skies, ready to unload 15,000 toy and candy-filled eggs onto the grounds of Lopez Middle School while a sea of children wait safely behind a security fence. For the safety of all attendees, the field will be divided into sections according to the following age groups: 0-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-11. This family-friendly event will feature other fun activies including games, inflatable jump houses, snacks, snow cones and much more. You will also be automatically entered to win one of several giveaways, including a Nintendo Wii gaming system. WHO: This inaugural San Antonio event is open to children of all ages and is hosted and sponsored by Northrock Church (northrocksa.com). Additional community sponsors include Local Coffee, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Auden’s Kitchen. WHEN: Registration begins at 9:30 am., with the egg drop starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 3.
