A Can for All Seasons

"A Can for All Seasons" by New York based, San Antonio native, Alejandro Diaz is comprised of four mixed-media sculptures used as seasonal planters in the upper level of the airport’s short-term parking garage. They are replicas of Mexican brand-name canned goods. The sculptures were inspired by the rural practice of growing plants in empty grocery-store cans.
