Folklorico Dancers At Night

As a high school student, I was part of a ceramics studio called Askew. We had after school studio hours in which we learned the ceramic and mosaic process from start to finish. We were invited as a student group to create the mosaic block markers for the historic Deco District along Fredericksburg Road. Each student made one mosaic marker, based around San Antonio culture. We designed and created our tiles from scratch, and assembled and grouted the mosaic in full.
