Spirit of Sacrifice (The Alamo Cenotaph)
“Spirit of Sacrifice” (Alamo Cenotaph) by San Antonio artist Pompeo Coppini is a memorial to the fallen Alamo heroes. It is a large rectangular shaft with a wedge at lower portion of the piece. It includes a large figure with two smaller figures huddled below to represent the spirit of the heroes rising from the dead.
