Trains

“Trains” by San Antonio artist Riley Robinson is a series of cut steel railings along the Hays Street Bridge. The figures playfully reference the bridge’s past function in San Antonio by playing tribute to the trains that historically operated under the bridge. The bridge features train silhouettes that are a subtle feature providing a fun and welcoming level of detail for pedestrians. The bridge has been renovated to become a public space for people in the Dignowity Hill Neighborhood and all of San Antonio.
