Main Plaza is San Antonio’s gathering place, offering regularly scheduled public programming, special events, weddings, and freedom of speech. In addition, we accommodate requests for quiet hours for those wishing to celebrate inside San Fernando Cathedral.

Your rental fee will be used to maintain Main Plaza, which will allow us to continue our mission of making the Plaza a gathering place for all.

Main Plaza links government, culture, business, and San Antonio’s spiritual heart, San Fernando Cathedral, all in one communal space, thus creating a thriving city center. Charged with creating a community atmosphere that attracts local residents and visitors, Main Plaza Conservancy advances the history and culture of our Plaza, in the Heart of the City, by engaging the community through a living, visual, and generational gathering place.
