Sunken Garden Theater

This unique outdoor theater in scenic Brackenridge Park was once an abandoned rock quarry. Today, this historic amphitheater presents music concerts, theater presentations and local festivals such as "A Taste of New Orleans." Programs presented at the theater on a regular basis include comedy, Shakespearean drama and concerts ranging from jazz to hard rock. Seats 1,000, holds 4,800 people.
