Situated along the banks of the River in the city’s heart, the historic Municipal Auditorium, with its original facade preserved, is being transformed into a world-class venue. This theatrical icon will once again become the pride of the River and a shining beacon of creativity, fine art and downtown development. When the dust finally settles in September 2014, The Tobin Center will feature a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose 1,759-seat (2,100-seat with flat-floor configuration) performance hall, a 250-seat studio theater, and an outdoor performance plaza connected to the River Walk with a permanent 30 FT video wall and water taxi portal.
The remarkable flexibility of the 1,759-seat H-E-B Performance Hall, with its distinctive “flat-floor” capability, opens the door for performances and events of almost any sort. Accessible parking is available in The Tobin Center Parking Garage on all levels: $15 per general admission space ($12 if prepaid) and $25 for a reserved parking space. When purchasing your tickets, you may reserve an accessible space on level 2 (three available, accessible spaces) at $25. Each general admission floor has three accessible parking spaces located next to the elevator at $15 ($12 if prepaid).

All public restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Companion care restrooms are also available on the orchestra, grand tier, and mezzanine level of The Tobin Center. Step stools are located within the companion care restrooms on the orchestra level.
The patrons' drop-off area is on Auditorium Circle, located to the left of The Tobin Center's front steps. To access the drop-off location, drive north on Jefferson Street and turn left on Auditorium Circle.
Elevators are located on each side of the McCombs Lobby behind the bars and at the entrance or the Carlos Alvarez Studio Theater.
Service animals are welcome inside the venue but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service Animals will rest in the seating area of their owner rather than in an aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.
The Tobin Center has wheelchairs available to assist guests with mobility concerns. Patron Services staff may be contacted to assist.
