Alex Grubbs is a multi-hyphenate theatre artist, composer, actor, musician, producer, teacher and writer. He moved to San Antonio from New York City where he was a founding member of “The Lobbyists” theatre collective and band, with performance and development opportunities at Naked Angels, Ensemble Studio Theatre, New York Stage and Film, Ars Nova, Page 73, The Flea Theatre, Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, White Heron Theatre Company and many others. Nominated for 2016 Drama Desk Award for critically acclaimed production: Seawife. He is a certified Moment Work teacher with Tectonic Theatre Company, and lifetime member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, M.F.A in Acting from the University of Virginia.
