 The Windows of Wonder Series

My art is a commentary on many aspects of our civilization, including ancient cultures, nature, and industrialism. Often some of these forces experience conflict, other times the erosion of time consumes and changes those forces. I am inspired and influenced by many ancient and modern cultures, science fiction, art history, and dystopian literature. However, this series has evolved over the years from an observation into an exercise in world building. The locations, characters, and symbols of the series are from a world similar to our own but foreign and fantastical, either through the passage of time or a leap through space. I encourage the viewer to make their own interpretations as to the story of these images. I like to think that everyone sees something different as they peer into these windows of wonder.
