J Pacheco

​​Hello my name is J Pacheco (they/them), also know as Gayylien. I am a Nonbinary Xicanx femme and multidisciplinary painter and artist. I am a makeup artist, face and body painter, and multi-disciplinary painter currently living in San Antonio, TX.  I am a self-taught artist who can provide a range of experiences in makeup artistry, face and body paint, and multi-disciplinary painting. I have experience working on past and continuous creative collaborations on a local level, corporate fashion photo shoots, local music videos, community pop-up makeup and face paint in the San Antonio and Austin areas, mural and mural assistance, acrylic and watercolor painting, and hand painted-goods. As a Nonbinary and Queer Xicanx, I want to share the tools of beauty and art that have helped me in my own journeys of self-love, healing, and queerness with Queer and Trans Black and Indigenous people as a mechanism of healing for them and with my community as a whole. My passions are in highlighting community care, Reproductive Justice, traditional healing and plant medicine, the four elements, food medicine, and musical expression.
