Artist Statement of Work
Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
I write relentlessly and with honesty and once I'm happy with the script, I project coordinate to try and complete it with a small team of local filmmakers.
I consider myself, to an extent, a type of surrealist. I usually write black comedies or very heavy dramas. My characters can sometimes feel less than human but a collection of quirks that express something. A film can become less narrative machine and transform into mood pieces or something episodic. It's all about playing with the medium and the expression of time as long as interesting imagery is produced and manipulated.
