Josh Stone
My name is Josh Stone. I am a local artist born and raised in the heart of San Antonio, Texas. Im 24 years old. As a person of color growing up in the city I have learned to use my art as my voice. Music is my first love. I am a music producer, engineer, and artist as well as a photographer/cinematographer when I’m not in the studio working on new sounds. I also own a record label called “Ethereal Vision Records”. I strive everyday to learn more and excel at whatever I do. Whether it’s producing new beats for an artist or shooting a music video I try to get better every time. My vision is to bring this light and energy to the growing art scene in San Antonio.

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
My work is one of a kind. The style of music I create is a blend of hip hop/rap and soul/jazz as I incorporate a lot of samples from vinyl that I cut up on my turntable. What sets me apart from most is that I produce all my own music but also perform and write my lyrics. Theres something special that happens when you pull out an idea from your soul and mind and bring it life. From scratch. Thats where I feel the real magic happens. You get to connect to the music and the artist more in depth. And that's what I yearn for as a creative. To connect with you through these frequencies. To elevate your mind with this art. To make you think and feel emotion. My philosophy is "elevate your mind" im everything ethereal and these are my visions. I want to elevate the world through this art and its possible one soul at a time just takes hard work and patience. And I have those aspects of life. So I'm taking it slow at the moment and learning my light and progression through growth. I plan to change the world and make it a better place anyway I can and I think my music is going to be my door opener to being able to make change.
